That does often happen and I believe that there is a Right Medium for the Right Recipient. I am sure that most good mediums will have heard from one of their sitters “I have waited for XX amount of years to hear that statement. It was just that the sitter needed to blend with the right medium; it does not necessarily mean that the other mediums were no good.

There are other answers too. For some people no matter how much information the medium gives, it will never be enough. These are the people who say they “Believe” and yet inside there is still scepticism and so they would either deny or shrug off even the best of information. At times like this it can be likened to flogging a dead horse. If this does seem the case, a good medium will recognise sooner rather than later and should abort the sitting.

If I keep visiting mediums, or keep on grieving, will I hold back my loved one from progressing?

No you cannot do that. What you can do though by “not moving on with your life” is to sadden your loved one. When you visit a medium they then act as an intermediary between the two worlds. They open themselves up to the Spirit World and your loved one will choose to come and communicate. There is no force here, they are at liberty to communicate or not. By communicating that they are fine and well and establishing this through proof, there is an immense relief. The Spirit World like this world gives people opportunities to progress provided they want to. Perhaps the first thing they need to do is to let people know that they are fine. Perhaps it takes a little progression first for them to then communicate. Each person is as individual as they are here and therefore their rate of development will be at the right rate for them.

What we must also remember is that each person living will have their own way and own time of grieving. There is a time for mourning, and for some that may take longer than others. Who are we to say what is right for one has to be right for another. Mediums, when the time is right can be a great help here to allow for the moving on. Mediums must not be used as crutches though. There are those who cling to the words of mediums unnecessarily so. After receiving good evidence that their loved one lives on, a sitter needs to try and move on then. I am not saying that they should never go and see a medium again, but certainly not on a weekly or monthly basis.

What is the difference between a Spirit and a Ghost?

When mediums get in touch with those who have passed over, they are contacting Spirits. There can be dialogue between the two and information received about the Spirit’s life both on earth and in the Spirit World.

A ghost is a psychic imprint of something that happened at a certain time. It is like watching a video that has captured an event and keeps on playing it over and over again. If you were watching a video or dvd and you said to the actors “Hi there, how are you doing?” then obviously you would get no response. This kind of phenomena or happening is what you would call a ghostly one.

So a Spirit can be communicated with and a Ghost is something from back in time that has been captured and you get repeat performances of it.

How can everyone fit into the Spirit World?

The Spirit World is another dimension of this world. It is not up above, nor down below. It is going on all around us now. Because the energy of the Spirit World vibrates at a much faster rate than the energy of the Physical World not everyone can see it.

It is a world of intelligence, it is not a physical world therefore there is no need for physical body. That is why there is no physical pain there. Everything that you are apart from your body moves on to the next level of existence (The Spirit World). All your memories, your potential, your love, your character etc. will still be with you. You will not need to stand with your hands at your side because there is no room. When we love, we love with our feelings, we say heart and yet the physical heart is not involved. You can still care, worry, be proud and indeed miss people when you have moved onto the Spirit. You will use your mind to a much greater degree and you can create that that you want in the Spirit just by thinking it.

Can they tell me my future from the Spirit World?
Although they can see a little further on than us, they are not there to tell us the lottery numbers or future. The job of the communicator is to give hope and comfort to those who are left behind, and give information to prove that it really is them.

A good psychic however, can tell your fortune and future. This however has nothing to do with the Spirit World. There are certain people who have the gift of clairvoyance but not in a mediumistic way. People like Tarot Card readers, Crystal Ball readers, Palm readers etc. can be excellent. You may actually get some mediums who work in both ways and therefore you may get a Spirit Contact coming into a Psychic Reading.
